Amy Rosenthal – Executive Director

amy rosenthal brings almost 25 years of expertise in health care, public policy, politics, and philanthropy and a wide variety of prior experience in multiple sectors – hospitals, state government, political campaigns, a foundation, and non-profit advocacy organizations. she has worked previously as the director of external affairs & campaigns at community catalyst (cc), where she has held several key positions since 2006. as such, she has played a leadership role within protect our care, a coalition of national organizations engaged in the current health care defense efforts; worked with the white house and health and human services during the obama administration on the implementation of the affordable care act (aca); led cc’s federal agenda and work with other national organizations, congressional offices, and agency staffers; and co-led cc’s campaign to pass the affordable health care.  she also provided senior leadership for the community catalyst action fund, a c4 organization, and all organizational campaigns, including medicaid expansion, children’s health care and the dental access project.

Suzanne Curry – Co-Director of Policy and Government Relations

suzanne curry is currently an associate director of policy and government relations at hcfa. she leads hcfa's public health insurance, health reform, and children's health policy and advocacy work. suzanne manages multiple coalitions, including the affordable care today (act!!) coalition and the children's health access coalition (chac). prior to joining health care for all, suzanne held various positions, including an organizer for the services employees international union (seiu) local 888. she has a b.a. in sociology and political science from boston university.

Zaira Foster – HelpLine Counselor

zaira foster began her career working for cardinal health in mexicali, mexico as an industrial engineer.  upon seeking further studies in boston, she fell in love with the city and decided to call boston her home.  she later moved with her family to new york city, and began her career in the healthcare field working for public health solutions, navigating the complexities of the newly implemented affordable care act.  after returning to massachusetts, zaira broadened her experience working in the medical billing department of emerson hospital.  now, at health care for all, zaira is excited to be utilizing her diverse experience to advocate for the people of massachusetts.

Hannah Frigand – Director, Education & Enrollment Services

hannah frigand manages the day-to-day operations of the helpline. after starting out in art school, hannah became interested in public policy after taking an introduction to government course. she decided to put down her paint brush and to focus her studies on public policy. hannah started working at health care for all as an intern in 2006 while still in school. upon graduating from suffolk university, she joined the health care for all team as a helpline counselor.

Rosana Gijsen – Outreach Coordinator

rosana gijsen is health care for all's outreach coordinator. in this role, she works to build the connection between health care and communities. prior to joining hcfa, rosana worked for the scalabrini center, brazilian community located in everett and somerville. during her time at the center, her work was focused on reducing disparities in the communities she served. rosana has a background in nutrition and is very passionate about serving the community and helping to promote health access for all.

María González Albuixech – Director, Communications and Immigrant Health

maría r. gonzález albuixech is hcfa's strategy and communications director. she also supervises outreach activities, community organizing and the helpline. a native of spain, maría earned a dual degree in communications and german studies at the university of valencia, spain and bremen university, germany. she studied journalism at carlos iii university and worked as the editor of several specialized publications in the madrid region. she also earned a master's degree in political science and international relations at suffolk university in boston. she worked as an associate editor for “el mundo” newspaper and as a reporter for noticias univision nueva inglaterra, where, in addition, she served as a news anchor and producer. later, she was employed as the community education manager at the massachusetts department of public health.

Chris Noble – Health Justice Community Organizer

chris noble is health care for all’s health justice community organizer. chris has been an advocate for people’s access to essential medicines and health resources since his diagnosis of type one diabetes back in 1995. over the last 20+ years chris has seen and heard far too many stories of peers and loved ones struggling to afford the medicines they need to thrive. driven by a desire to ensure everyone has the right to life we are all guaranteed, chris decided to get his masters in public health specializing in pharmaceutical access from boston university school of public health to better understand how to make medicines and health resources available to all those in need. chris has worked in a number of different capacities including health education domestically and abroad, organizing and advocacy here in massachusetts and nationally to protect and strengthen the aca and improve prescription drug affordability, and as a health systems researcher with harvard medical school. he hopes to use his role at hcfa to connect the lived experience of people here in the commonwealth with the vast portfolio of health justice initiatives hcfa is pursuing.

Yaminah Romulus, MPH – Policy and Project Coordinator

娱乐棋牌红包扫雷yaminah romulus is a policy and project coordinator at health care for all. she works with the policy department on hcfa’s affordable drug portfolio, where she provides research, analysis, coalition coordination, event planning, and administrative support. prior to joining hcfa, yaminah worked as a health policy and program associate at the network for excellence in health innovation providing research and analysis support across various program areas.  in addition to several other experiences in health policy research, she also served as a patient advocate at the birmingham free clinic in pittsburgh, pennsylvania. one of her major responsibilities included facilitating all aspects of the clinic’s pharmaceutical assistance program applications and medications received free of charge for uninsured patients. yaminah earned her bachelor’s degree from the university of pittsburgh and her master’s degree in public health with a focus in health policy at emory university.

Alex Sheff – Co-Director, Policy and Government Relations

娱乐棋牌红包扫雷alex is co-director of policy and government affairs at health care for all (hcfa). his work focuses on low-income seniors, delivery system reform, integration of social determinants of health, oral health integration and prescription drugs. prior to joining hcfa, alex was the senior program manager for medicaid strategies at partners healthcare where he led the creation and operation of their medicaid accountable care organization. he also served as the senior health policy advisor to u.s. senator debbie stabenow where oversaw her health care portfolio and focused on legislation such as the affordable care act and the excellence in mental health act. he holds a b.a. from vassar college, and an m.p.a. from the woodrow wilson school of public and international affairs at princeton university.
